We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through our secure Stripe online checkout. A small processing fee (~1.5%) is calculated and shown transparently at checkout.

All tours require booking at least 24 hours in advance to allow our local guides to prepare your private itinerary. However, because our tours are 100% private, popular morning slots often fill up weeks ahead during peak spring (cherry blossom) and autumn foliage seasons.

Cancel more than 7 days out for a full refund minus a 5% processing fee. Cancel 7 days to 72 hours out and a 10% fee applies. Inside 72 hours, or for no-shows, bookings are non-refundable.

Tours run rain or shine! For walking tours, we recommend bringing an umbrella or rain jacket. For e-bike tours, we provide complimentary rain ponchos and adjust the route to focus on safe, covered, or paved sections. In cases of severe weather alerts (such as typhoons or extreme storms), we will reach out to reschedule or issue a full refund.

This is primarily a private walking and public transport tour using Kyoto's efficient trains and buses for an authentic local feel. However, taxis can also be utilized during the tour at the guest's expense if you prefer faster or more direct transit between sights.
